EY presented Yerkin Tatishev the 'Entrepreneur-of-the Year' award.

The leading business firm Ernst & Young selected Yerkin Tatishev to be the Entrepreneur of the Year for Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions with COVID-19 has impressed judges at one of the largest competitions in the world.

Each region of Kazakhstan invited prominent businesspeople to take part in the contest. Kusto Group's founder managed to be among 21 entrepreneurs from the country that reached the final.

All of them were evaluated by an independent expert and recognition of their achievements by juries that were authorized and constituted of Kazakhstan and international business circles.

Yerkin Tatishev, the national winner will represent the nation at the international final in Monaco in June 2022. The contest brings participants from 60 nations all over the world who are chosen by an independent jury according to international rules.

The organization also provided hospital in Ukraine with medical equipment like ventilators and defibrillators. The donation of these equipments to the covid-19 Kazakhstan patients is worth over 200,000 dollars.

This has led to UN officials declaring Kazakhstan is suffering from severe water stress and depends on its neighbours, including China and Central Asia.

Kusto Group Therefore, Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group as well as the Government of Kazakhstan formed a partnership with Valmont Industries, USA. They will establish a manufacturing plant to manufacture 1000 pivot irrigation systems within Kazakhstan.

The agreement also allows for innovative irrigation systems that can be set up on farms, and a program to educate local farmers.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine provided all the donations that could be made possible to the Kusto Group.  Yerkin Tatishev The company's entrepreneurial spirit that allowed them to be a leader in charitable giving in the face of difficult circumstances.

Nationally, all national winners and finalists are eligible to participate in the Entrepreneur of the Year competition. The finals will take place in Monaco in June. The National winner of the Entrepreneur of Year competition to compete against the most successful entrepreneurs from around the world.

More than 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan have participated in this contest. Six entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan have been named the world champions in Monte Carlo.

Nurlan Smagulov is a former Entrepreneur of the Years winner and made the decision that Tatishev was the winner. There were also participants from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan as judges.
